Getting started with manuscript writing can feel overwhelming, but a strong outline provides the foundation for a clear and compelling paper. Within this session, Prof. Teresa O’Meara, Associate Professor of Microbiology and Immunology, will focus on how to effectively organize your science, including the motivation, problem statement, and results, into a structure that supports your argument and engages readers.
In this interactive workshop, you will learn best practices for outlining, explore strategies for translating research into a logical flow, and begin drafting an outline for your own manuscript.
